Welcome all the way!

A blue rooftop full unit house at a quiet surrounding of greenery and murmuring of the river,

Mountain Louse haru∞baru is located at Shimokitayama Village,

 far across mountains and deep forests of Nara Prefecture.

Life in this small village is connected with nature along side four season.

In spring, mountains sprout its lives at once starring cherry blossom trees.

Rainy season gives way to spectacular hydrangea bloom and fireflies to dance in the biotope.

When summer hits the season, it's time for a dive and swim in deep blue river.

The mountains color in rich gradation in the autumn and bring fruitful of harvests

which are dedicated to Ujigami; god of the village appreciating the blessing of mother earth. 

Winter fields are chilly and frosty, calm and peace. 

It's time for families to get together, and prepare for the next year.

We wish to welcome everyone to come and experience the magical beauty of Shimokitayama nature, 

and connect with warmth and charms of its people.

Price

・Whole unit rental for 1 group only

・Capacity: 7 adults

・Up to 4th person ¥ 7,000 (tax included) / day

・5th-7th person ¥ 3,500 (tax included) / day

It's a small lodge house comfortable for group of 5 person. 

＊The price is counted for each futon (Japanese floor mat). Children who uses the same bed with their parents is will of charged. 

Discount

・We offer discount for groups of long stay. Please let us know upon reservation.

Payment

Payment should be made by cash upon check-in, or bank transfer in advance (banking fee to be covered by guests). 

Cancellation

5 - 2 days... 50％

after 1 day... 100％

We ask all guests to avoid cancellation especially during the high seasons (Golden week and between July to August).  We appreciate your cooperation.

Kitchen

Cooking facilities are available in the kitchen. 

- cooking equipment:  sauce pot, clay pot, frying pan, grill pan, kettle, portable gas stove, kitchen knife, cutting board

- kitchen appliance: refrigerator, 3-port gas stove, rice cooker, microwave oven, toaster

- tableware, cutlery

- seasoning: salt, pepper, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, oil, miso

- drinks: coffee, tea, japanese tea, herbal tea

Amenity

- Bath towel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent

- Dryer, two-layer washing machine　

Please bring your own hand towel, toothbrush and other necessities.

Our choice of soap, detergent, shampoo are plant-derived and organic products as a practice of living with as little environmental impact as possible. We use the same product to wash bath towels and bed linens.

Option

BBQ set is available for free. We ask you to please clean up and organize after use. Below items are available upon request. Please make reservation in advance.

Note

- Our lodge is located in a very quiet environment. Please avoid making loud noises especially at night. - Smoking is prohibited inside the room and terrace area. Please bring your own ash tray and smoke outside the facility.

- We try to make less waste by composting and feeding animals. We appreciate your understanding in separate recycling.

- Our friendly neighbors may visit time to time to tender biotope and garden on site.

From Osaka: Kintetsu Abeno Bridge-Kintetsu Yamatojoichi Station

Nara Kotsu Bus: 1-minute walk from Yamato-shi-bus stop "Sumiyoshi" (about 3.5 hours)

From Kyoto: Kintetsu Kyoto-Kashihara Jingumae Station-Transfer-Yamatokamishi Station

Nara Kotsu Bus: 1-minute walk from Yamato-shi-bus stop "Sumiyoshi" (about 4 hours)

From Nagoya: Kintetsu Nagoya -via JR Kisei Line- JR Kumanoshi Station

Mie Kotsu Bus: Kumano-Get off at Sumiyoshi bus stop, 1 minute walk (4 hours and a half)
